KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Several law enforcement agencies worked together this Labor Day Weekend to get drunk drivers off the roads but one tool they didn't have is DUI checkpoints. Washington State Patrol Chief John Baptiste says, "They are illegal here in the state. They have not been allowed by the legislature to be passed into law.
